The drainage channels on the top surface of the calcium carbide slag stack adopted fiber-reinforced cement blankets as a substitute for traditional masonry or concrete structures. This innovation effectively addressed challenges associated with uneven settlement of tailings, making the drainage system less costly, faster to construct, longer in service life, more comprehensive in function and more aesthetically pleasing in appearance.
