Project Description:

This recycling pond is the world’s largest acidic phosphorus-containing water storage facility, constructed with a composite anti-seepage system incorporating a permanent leakage monitoring system at its base. To safeguard the integrity of the geomembrane liner and prevent damage from external forces, a layer of fiber-reinforced cement blankets was applied as protective overlay on the pond’s anti-seepage surface. This dual approach—bottom monitoring coupled with top protection—establishes a robust pollution containment system.
